Altuzarra

In the past Altuzarra hasn't been amongst my favourite brands, but this collection seemed to provide a mix between romantic feminine pieces and a tougher edge, which I really liked. I particularly liked looks 15 to 17 with the pale pink set against the harsh grey overcoat. The mixture of textures made it almost like a transitional pre-fall look but still  just as amazing.

Rebecca Taylor

Again, not a very well known brand but the variety of patterns and colours used made it really interesting for me. The particular look I had in mind was Look 16 (via style.com). I mixed it up a bit with the tartan and the purple bag instead of orange.

Ruffian

I had never previously heard of this brand, but when I saw it was being livestreamed I decided to watch it. I have no idea why I haven't heard of it before as the clothes are gorgeous! Definitely recommend that you check it out, the pictures are on style.com. The collection was made up of a lot of monochrome and tailoring. Some of it was slightly over the top, but it was fun to imitate.

This isn't with a particular look in mind, just the general feel of the collection.

Hey

Welcome to my blog. I have decided to take up the challenge of recreating high end fashion looks from the runway, using only clothes that I already own from high street stores. Each day during fashion season I will be posting at least one look from the last 24 hours of fashion shows, meaning I have no time to buy new items, my looks are simply spontaneous!

I know my looks are not exact dupes of high end designs, but I hope to have fun creating these looks and learn about styling as I go along. I hope you enjoy my blog.
